Understanding my personal formula, and following it, settled my life and days, and brought healing and inspiration. I follow it to this day! And it's relatively simple! To read someone else's spiritual formula requires a connection to the higher power and cosmos. It's interesting, that like human beings themselves, the formulas are, at root, much alike; yet all are very different! Each of us has a life formula which is unique in its working out, and in its language. Life basically teaches the same lessons to all, yet the birth chart is the language, for each souls understanding. The natal chart can point a clear way to happiness and peace - and a satisfied spirit. The Astrology Birth Chart is like taking a picture of the heavens - the star and planet positions - at the moment of one's birth. Put down on paper, this becomes a detailed and powerful map of one's life and soul. The symbols of the map speak a language which is meant to speak to the inner depths of the soul, opening intuitive awareness and perceptions. Each astrology birth map speaks best to the native or 'owner' of that map. Who knows one's heart and life better? * THE PLANETS are energies and things in our life. The Zodiac SIGNS are 'how' they occur, and shine forth. And the twelve HOUSES are 'where' they shine forth. The Twelve Houses are stationary, like the face of a clock. The Zodiac Band, like a second, transparent clock face, turns clockwise upon it, one turn, each day [one complete turn, every twenty-four hours]. Each 30 degree sign takes two hours to fully rise above the horizon. [30 degrees of a circle.] The Planets are ten hands (of the clock), which move counter clockwise through the zodiac band. The Birth Chart is a snapshot, 'a still lfe', of all this, as it was at the moment of one's birth into the world - showing the make-up of the soul and life. [We are made of the same elements. "As above, so below."] In the natal chart is all the potential of the life, days and soul. Understanding the language of the astrological symbols, an astrologer will 'read' messages and see impressions. Different astrologers will see the same, yet slightly different versions. And you can quickly learn to read its messages (and intuitions) too. Then everytime you look at it, it will tell you something new. And can be a tool throughout one's life. * As you can soon see, not only do we have a sun sign, a moon sign, and a rising sign (the sign at the horizon), but we have signs for the remaining planets as well. And the sun, moon and planets have relationships or inter-connectedness between them, called 'aspects' [connections, or relationships - whether postive or negative]. * Our birth chart and map, becomes our own (stationary) clock face! And the ten planetary hands move upon it throughout our life. Each moving through the zodiac signs and houses at their own rate of speed. As they pass our natal positions (of the sun, moon and planets), they chime certain hours, happenings and potentials. ~ ~ ~ One's birth chart can be compared to any other birth chart, revealing harmonies, differences and potential difficulties (and also, solutions to inharmonies or troubles).
