TRUMP CARD #3 - THE EMPRESS
The Empress, learning valuable insights and mysteries of life, upon the mystic path, brings this knowledge into her or his world as fruitful blessings. There is joy and
peace.
TRUMP CARD #4 - The EMPEROR
Doorways in the world of more control and dominion of life, are opening. The spirit path illumines and centers one. A fruit of this is more success and opportunities.
TRUMP CARD #5 - THE HEIROPHANT (SPIRITUAL TEACHER)
Unfortunately, the mystic path is not just a cosmic candy store. Choices, sacrifice, and patience, are all part of the path. But what joy! And sustaining, substantial peace! For the mystic path to be real, there has to be acknowledgement and reverence for the higher power, who is the source of 'life'. No matter how far the human race wanders, paradise will be restored. "The bear will be seen grazing with the cow..." The true vibration of the universe is love and harmony, and this involves agreement, trust, and faithfulness.
TRUMP CARD #6 - THE LOVERS
There is unity of heart, mind and life. There is true and exciting love. The mystic path brings harmony and fulfillment.
TRUMP CARD #7 - THE CHARIOT
Seeking truth, illumination and inner peace, leads to a sense of direction and purpose. Each one of us has our purpose and destiny within. As we center ourselves, we come to more fully understand that purpose, and we can set our goals and aim in that direction.
TRUMP #8 - STRENGTH
The strength card, means just that, strength! The life force is good. There is physical, spiritual and moral strength. This is a gentle strength. For the stronger one is within, the more gentle and patient one can be.
MAJOR ARCANA #9 - THE HERMIT
From our centering, not only comes direction and cause, but inspiration and creativity. We go to the mountain alone, and we seek that quiet presence and higher power. We center ourselves alone, breathing in deeply that life force, energy and creativity. In turn, we return to the world with light we can share, and peace we can communicate.

MAJOR ARCANA #10 - THE WHEEL OF LIFE
As we have been walking down the mystic pathway, depicted by the major tarot, the wheel has turned. Things have changed, life has progressed. Life is made up of cycles. We plant the seeds today, that will fruit and blossom tomorrow. (In a reading, this card depicts a change of 'fortune'.)
MAJOR ARCANA (TRUMP) #11 - JUSTICE
Justice or balance is a law of life that cannot be avoided. As we put forth (or do unto others) so shall it be with us. With the great criminals of life, it may seem slow, but it's sure. For the rest of us, not every little thing catches up with us, but our major approaches or attitudes will. Tolerance (I'm OK, you're OK) will go a long way in helping inner, thus outer, balance.
MAJOR ARCAN (TRUMP) #12 - THE HANGING MAN
At first look, the hanging man (card) looks disagreeable or hard. But
if we look closer, the hanging man has a serene smile upon his face. To accomplish good, sometimes mighty things, takes sacrifice. This is the hanging man. He knows self-sacrifice is one of the ingredients of life, let alone greatness. Buddha taught that the way of 'freedom' and 'supreme happiness', is freedom from self desire and concern. Also, if we simplify life, we have more freedom (if we don't have to keep up with the 'Jones', we don't have to work as hard - or we can work hard, but for different reasons).
TRUMP CARD #13 - the DEATH CARD
is the most fearful to come up for someone in a reading. Yet this card does not usually signify death, but transition; the end of one thing and the beginning of another. Any reader worth their salt would never see the problem only, but also, keys to the solution. Yet we still fear readings! We sometimes dread the future. And readings are likely messages, one's own higher self is trying to communicate, for the benefit of the life, progress and happiness.
Death, unfortunately (for now) is a part of life (it wasn't originally). Part of the transitions of life, is the letting go of old forms and fears, so we can embrace new ones; much like a caterpillar, giving way to the butterfly. If we run away from truth and true principles of life, we may ever remain an earthbound caterpillar. Perhaps the insight we fear is the very truth or key to our happiness! Perhaps the truth is far more pleasant than we ever imagined! An adventure and a quest! And our outworn perceptions need to be sloughed off, to make room for the radiant new! After all, after death, comes resurrection!
TRUMP CARD #14 - TEMPERANCE, or the Temperance Angel
This Major Arcana card is a beautiful picture of an angel pouring blessing waters. When one is on the spiritual path, blessings and richness 'stream' down to them. True blessedness, is to be able to share this with others. The Temperence Angel, receives blessing and in turn, pours out blessing.
TRUMP CARD #15 - THE DEVIL
It's at this point that we become most aware of opposition. Unfortunately, we 'are' in a war of good and evil, on this plane and planet. All we need do is really look around to see this. (When the higher power first created lfe, unless 'he' was aiming for an ant hill, certain potentials came to be. Thus the tree of the 'knowledge of good and evil' was in the garden with the 'tree of [ever-lasting] life'. When that original high angel decided to go his own way - lucifer - he took one third of the spirit beings with him. So we can cheer up! For there are twice as many guardians as there are demons or 'dark spirits'. The ways of the higher power are vast, endlessly varied, and richly satisfying. The only 'other' way to go, is away from life, and into sorrow and suffering.) The devil is the supreme trickster. Have you felt him in your life? Have you seen him in the world? In every instance, he never tells the truth, he takes one strand of truth (steals) and weaves it with many strands of untruths; in order to hide truth, meaning to life, peace, joy and success; and to instigate division and suffering(s). He's presently very powerful (he's ruling - for the most part - the attitudes of this 'temporary' world).
TRUMP CARD #16 - THE TOWER
The illustration on this card, is a brick or stone tower which has been hit by lightning. The top of the tower has broken off and is on fire, as it is falling to the ground. We idolize the exterior life, expecting and depending upon it for everything. Sooner or later, the illusion must tumble, clearing the way for new beginnings and renewal, which are closer to the essence of life.
TRUMP CARD #17 - THE STAR
When the smoke and dust clear, from the falling of the tower (our illusions); we can see, in a dusky sky, a star which has risen. It's the star of guidance and new direction. The art work on this card is a beautiful star reflected upon the water (a creek or small lake) which a seeker is gazing into. This card is guidance and renewal.
TRUMP CARD #18 - THE MOON
The moon speaks of mysterious mystic connection. It is the urge and call to cosmic consciousness; the unfolding of spirituality and aliveness. Deeper knowledge is calling to the soul.
TRUMP CARD #19 - THE SUN
This card is creativity and enjoyment under the sun. Life is good! Life was intended to be good! And is destined to surpass all hopes and dreams...
TRUMP CARD #20 - RESURRECTION
Life itself is ever urging us onward to new life and renewal. If we follow the stepping stones of the mystic tarot (the Major Arcana, or spiritual suit), life becomes a series of renewal and unfolding.
TRUMP CARD #21 - THE WORLD
As it is in the inner, so it is, in the outer. To become cosmically connected to the mystic realms and source of life, is an everlasting adventure and mystic quest. The more we reach out to the cosmos, the more it will unfold before us. "The World", "Cosmic Consciousness" or "Cosmic Dancer" is the state of Nirvana, the call of paradise that echoes in every heart, and is the destiny of this planet. This card correlates to the 7th chakra, the crown chakra: "being under the ecstasy" and (knowing our destiny).
