DREAMS ARE messages to ourselves! In our dreams come powerful symbols. Sometimes, they're obvious, like jewels in the sand. But other times, they're not only far less obvious, but come in strange twists and elusive shadows; personal twists and
shadows best understood by the one dreaming! Therefore the best interpreter of a dream is the dreamer. We each have our own dream image language. Although many symbols are linked or common universally.
Dreams are like a mental, spiritual morse code, usually from one's higher self. But sometimes they are aided along by angels, or the spirit of the higher power. Or in other cases, aided along by the darker forces - fallen angels (SOME nightmares)!
But usually dreams are messages from
our higher self to our 'daily' self. These
messages come delivered to us in
elaborate packages, we call dreams,
or the dream background. In each
dream is the Main Symbol and
probably one to a few other symbols.
These symbols are the dream
language. Recurring dreams, or themes, are important messages!
The first step to finding the message
of a dream, is to find the main symbol. Other symbols in the dream, may support or help to clarify the main symbol. OR they may represent other ideas all together! Sifting through dreams therefore, takes intuition and perception Once the main symbol is found, contemplate that image (or happening) as to what it might mean to you (or the dreamer). What feeling does it evoke? Some symbols and images, for the large part, have common meanings - corridors, books on a shelf, stairways going up, stairways going down, etc. Yet even these, may have different meanings to different dreamers! Therefore, the best interpreter is still the dreamer. As with anything - practice and experience sharpens our
insight and skill! Happy Dream Sifting!!
